First Snow

We got our first significant snowfall of the season overnight (about 5-6 inches) and the kids could not wait to go outside and play. So after lunch, Dada took them outside and they played while Dada shoveled the driveway and walkway.  Sasha and I stayed inside where it was nice and warm =:)

The kids got to test out their new saucer sleds.

Stella really enjoyed sledding down our long driveway which has a slight slope.  She did this over and over and over...

They also enjoyed throwing snowballs at very close range!

Des also enjoyed making a snow hill.

The kids were actually playing outside during their regular nap time, so by the evening, we had one tired little boy on our hands.  While making dinner, Stella and Des were watching TV, but I realized that I was not hearing Des at all whereas Stella was flitting in and out of the kitchen.  So I went over to the family room to check on Des and this is how I found him...

...fast asleep!
